My promise to you

I have worked hard to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), and your trust is everything to me. As such, I want you to know I work relentlessly to abide by ethical blogging and social media standards, which includes strict adherence to the FTC guidelines for bloggers, as well as the code of ethics set-forth by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.

Site Intent and Purpose

This is a personal blog written by me, Kate Geagan. All thoughts, advice and opinions expressed here, as well as all of my media and online communications, are 100% purely my own. They are based on my own professional judgment and personal experiences, and are never influenced by compensation from third parties or partners.

Sponsored Posts

Occasionally I receive free books or products to sample, or am invited to attend conferences, farm tours or events where some or all of my expenses have been paid.

Whenever I mention a product or an experience that was provided to me, I will make it clear in my post. Otherwise, assume it is a product or an experience that I have paid for myself. If I write about a specific food, product or event, it’s because I have had a positive experience (or I’ll tell you why I didn’t like it).

While sponsored posts are rare, they will be clearly identified in the blog or recipe itself, and any compensation received will never influence the professional accuracy of my content. Sponsored social media posts will be indicated with the hashtags #sponsored, #ad or #client.

And if I don’t support it or believe in it, you won’t see it here.

I take my brand partnerships very seriously and only work with a handful of select companies that are closely aligned with my personal and professional integrity. Please visit my CLIENT page for a complete list of my recent brand partnerships and collaborations.

Advertising and Link Exchanges

Currently, I do not accept any advertising on my site from any third parties.  I also do not participate in any link exchanges, giveaways or guest posts to promote a product (so please don’t request it).

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to me, and I don’t ever share any of your info with any third party or partner.

I’m proud to have pledged my support for ethical blogging at RDs4Disclosure.

As always, please email me if you have any questions:
